'Diane provided a non-judgemental space for me to discuss my working patterns. With her help I have become more focused and organised in my work. Her assistance was invaluable in figuring out how I could work better, cope with distractions, and create a more pleasant space to work in. I highly recommend coaching with Diane.'
An Area Dean
Creating space to reflect, focus and renew
Coaching provides clarity in the context of complex ministerial demands. It creates a space for you to reflect on areas of your work, life and ministry where you want to make changes. Taking time to focus and reflect will bring you confidence, reduce stress and help you be more effective.
Specialist coaching for clergy
I offer specialist support to clergy and recognise that there is something unique about being in public ministry and the particular challenges this brings. My experience includes working as a church community worker and I am married to a vicar which gives me an understanding of this context. I am committed to providing support for personal growth, reduced stress and a healthy life and ministry.
Coaching can help you
What is involved
Coaching is led by you within the context of your life and ministry. As your coach I support you through focused questions, reflection and goal setting to create a planned way forward. Sessions are designed around your agenda in a confidential and relaxed setting, ensuring you get what you need.
You will receive:
~ An initial 30 minute telephone consultation to get clear on what you want to gain from coaching.
~ A reflective questionnaire to prepare you for the session.
~ A 90 minute coaching session to help you gain clarity to move forward.
~ Email support between sessions to keep you on track.
The number and frequency of sessions are agreed with you and designed to meet your needs. Sessions are available via Skype or face-to-face within the York and surrounding area.
